Welcome, About us.

We are a small, friendly, animal boarding facility and look after Rabbits and Guinea pigs. We have have kept it small to enable us to provide good quality, safe , clean care for your little pets. We treat your pets as we treat our own, with lots of care...

We have our own resident bunny, "Rabbsie" , he is four years young and a beautiful model for our home page

.From very early on I have always kept small animals and as a young adult my first job was a veterinary nurse assistant and offer experience and knowledge.

 Our family will feel privileged to look after your small pet while you are safe in the knowledge that they are happy and well cared for.

We opened at the start of the October half term and have proved to be very popular and already have repeat bookings for next year.

The holiday cabin where your pets are housed, offers total piece of mind as this is just a couple of steps away from the back door of the house and locked securely at night or if we have to pop out.

Health and hygiene

We have three spacious hutches which are kept immaculately clean. Your pets holiday home is cleaned out daily and disinfected using an approved disinfectant between guests. Guinea pigs are kept on Polar fleece to minimize  the risk of respiratory problems. These are changed daily. For Rabbits we use megazorb,a soft highly absorbant and warm bedding material. This is heat treated and dust free, ensuring respiratory safety in all our guests. It also minimizes the risk of mites being carried in by straw.

Your pets health and happiness is very important to us, every guest is given a daily check and lots of cuddles!

We ask that you provide a supply of your pets NORMAL dried food for the duration of their stay. This is very important as a sudden change to diet may result in a tummy upset and a reluctance to eat.

Exercise is essential to the happiness of rabbits and guinea pigs and this is provided in our secure , outdoor all weather runs. Rabbits go out every day for as long as possible to minimise boredom and are provided with a variety of toys, tunnels, boxes and footballs to keep them entertained. The outdoor Rabbit runs are very secure and totally predator proof. The floor of the runs is covered in a good layer of playbark, allowing plenty of digging opportunities, a natural behavior in Rabbits...

 At the end of out garden we have allowed an area to grow into a small meadow, which is now full of lush long grass and dandelions. A real treat for our guests! Guinea pigs go out in the covered runs [weather and temperature allowing].

Heat pads are provided in the winter and cool pods are provided in the summer.We have recently introduced a safe heating system in the cabin which gently heats the boarding area in very cold and icy weather.

All rabbits MUST be vaccinated against VHD and myxomatosis.

All small animal must be mite free. We cannot accept any animals that show signs of a mite infestation. As you must understand, this is for the health of any other guests that may staying at the time

 We have excellent links to local vets should your pet require their services whilst in our care.  Also we are a member of the Rabbit Welfare Association and ARE FULLY INSURED [excludes pre- existing conditions}, thus making you holiday a little more enjoyable...
